Excited but worried about job offer

Dear IT reddit,

I currently interested in working in IT. I've been working at Best Buy for about a year know and am soon to be promoted to the Geek Squad to start my career but I'm suddenly given an opportunity that almost seems too good to be true. Apparently my friend's dad has some connections at a large private school. And they're looking for IT managers. I'm currently in the interview process for this position and it's moving pretty rapidly. I think I might get the job. The only issue is I am a sophomore in college and I've only taken half of my a+ certification. I don't have any IT management experience or have been in a real technical IT role. My greatest fear is getting this job just because I have connections and I don't think I'm qualified. I realize It is not a job that you can bs. Are my concerns unwarranted or if not what should or can I do to prepare to be an IT manager.

Secondary questions What is the work-life balance like for an IT manager. Is it possible to continue going to school full-time and get my bachelor's while doing so? Is it common for IT managers to be on call?

Thanks in advance
