Any Advice would be Appreciated
My current employment situation is unique. I am currently working as a court reporter, I have a B.S. in Physics, and I currently under investigation for a government clearance for an entry level IT position for a government contractor. To add more complexity, the original contract I was considered for fell through, but the company is continuing with my clearance process. So assuming all goes well I'll end up with a clearance, but there is not a job waiting for me there. I am pretty computer literate, but I have no Certs. It has been explained to me that I shouldn't bother with the A+ exam and I should just start prepping for the Network+ one instead. Thoughts?
