Is a Bachelors of Arts in information technology or Bachelors of science in computing and network communications useful degrees?

I live in Ontario, Canada, and I want to apply to Bachelors of Arts in information technology or Bachelors of science in computing and network communications. (York or Brock University). I’m more into networking and servers as oppose to the more programming side of computer science. Are these useful degrees, will I have trouble finding jobs that pay good?
