Hi!

I am from Dominican Republic, I am 25year old. I am currently live in Pennsylvania US. I grew up really poor and in DR there are like no opportunity for poor people. My parents help me out to get education so at least I am able to speak English, have knowledge about electronic and I did went to college for Networking Management in DR. Basically What they teach you is CNNA. You do not get the cert.

I move to United state in 2015 and I spent this 5 year getting finance stable, wasting time and trying to study a 4yr degree but I couldn’t it was too expensive. I did try to get a job at Networking of something related to IT. No luck. I did join the army trying to get a 25B IT support so that will help in the civilian world. But you must be citizen of the united state. So I took another MOS meanwhile. I am trying to get in the IT field and grow but I don’t know how and I don’t know people in the field. I just work in a warehouse so far so the people around me they are not really help. I am not saying they wrong or something. Most of them don’t really care about getting out of there. I currently working in the A+ certification but I would like to hear from you guys what thing should I do to build a successful career in the IT field!
