Can I make it in the IT world?

I have around 4 years of average computer programming and recently decided to focus on pursuing a career in IT. However, I am not one of those 4.0 students that has a natural affinity for math and programming so I am often outclassed knowledge wise compared to my fellow classmates in college. If I get the degree will I still be able to get a job or will the "naturals" be chosen instead of me?
