Best study method for certs?

Ive been watching professor messer vids, while trying to complete my bachelors in cybersecurity. I still have 2 years left before I can use my degree. Are his videos good enough to pass a test? I have books for network and a+ but the books have thousands of pages and i dont know what to retain.

How did you pass your certs? What materials did you use to pass?
