Does the type and length of coaxial cable affect internet speeds when connecting to the modem?

Looking to reorganize my internet setup and move it from one corner of the house to a more open space along with the router. In order to do so, I need to buy a ~75 foot coax cable.
Questions
- Does the length of coaxial cable (specifically 75 feet) affect internet speeds/connections?
- What type of coaxial cable do I should I be looking for?
I'm doing this for my own home (non-commercial) and from what I've gathered so far, 75 feet isn't the end of the world in terms of quality loss and I should be looking for "RG6."
That's all I know. Looking for confirmations, debunks, or any other suggestions.
