Microsoft Word Error

Hi all,

I need assistance with an error message I'm receiving when using Microsoft Word. I am attempting to save and open documents but keep receiving a message that says "Word cannot complete the save due to a file permission error". What exactly does this mean? I went to Microsoft's website and was able to find troubleshooting steps listed in this link:

Any other possible solutions? Also, I am using a macbook pro with Mojave OS.
