Small business moving to microservices developed in house by 4 person team (vs. large team(s))
Hello. My company is refactoring/redesigning parts of our monolithic .NET app into microservices. We have 4 developers who also serve as the production support team. Seems like microservices and their design, coding and support, require larger teams, especially as you get into tens or hundreds or microservices in play. I think it's pretty clear we're asking for trouble going down this route with a single small and inexperienced dev team, but how much trouble? Anyone who creates, maintains and/or supports microservices...what does your org and team(s) look like? Thanks!
