Can I use compressed air can to clean motherboard?

I have an old MacBook (2012), and the motherboard needs a cleaning badly.

I need to take the mother board off, and clean the back of it.

I have never cleaned the mother board so I'm new to this, but can I used one of those compressed air cans?
