Corporate position vs contract position through recruiter for government contract? Need help

I've been offered two Business Analyst positions, one is directly for a company and one is through a recruiter. They are both for large companies but the recruiter position is offering a higher salary working on a high profile government contract for three (plus) years. The company offer is slightly smaller in salary and is also for a large government contract but not as high profile. However, I would be working directly for the company and could get training and have the potential to move up. So, my dilemma is do I take the higher paying offer that allows me the experience of working for a high profile govt contract with higher pay but technically working through the recruiter company or do I take the slightly ($9K) smaller salary and take the position with the company?
