Degree in life sciences and not in IT....PMP or Master's in technology?

Hello,

I have a science undergrad but have been an IT Project Manager for some time and love it. To maximize potential in this field would it be better for me to get a PMP certification or a second degree focused on technology? Any insight would be much appreciated!
