IT Job Advice
Hello Reddit,
I have been super fortunate in my life to get to where i am, i have adored technology for as long as i remember, and being isolated around it just made me super happy then being anywhere else, straight after High School I (no clue why or how with the shitty resume i submitted and my interview) landed an IT Job at a company at the age of 18 (No previous experience whatsoever) i have now been working here for going on 4 years.
So the problem. i now have an absolute hate for technology... i just get super frustrated even with the easiest things like installing drivers, imaging, installing and updating new software. i hate it, i just hate it. And i know my younger self would be super excited to know he got here...but i cant find any more happiness here. I dunno what to do, i have invested myself so much to technology that i have nothing else to pursue and i know i do love technology deep down, and i talked to another IT Guy (17 years of experience) who comes around to help me with the time consuming jobs... and he smiled and said "yeah, that happens quite alot" i asked for some tips he said to just take a break from it all, i cant do that though i need the money.
TL;DR i now hate technology after having this job, any tips apart from "taking a break"
Thank you,
