Why does reddit go down so often? Isn't the point of a cdn to prevent such things?
It's a long running problem. Reddit is in the top 20 most popular websites in the world. They make money from ads, mining, award gimmicks, and probably other sources. LOTS of marketing happens on reddit. I find it hard to believe that outages are due to a cashflow problem. It almost has to be a technical issue, but if so why doesn't it get fixed? I guess I am missing something.
